This Privacy Policy explains how the Best Life Music with CarPlay app (“the App”) handles your information. The App is developed and provided by Dennis Laube (“I,” “me,” or “my”).

The short version: the App does not collect, store, share, or sell any personal information.

Information the App collects

The App does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

• It does not require an account, and you do not sign in.
• It does not include analytics, usage-tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• It does not transmit personal information to me or to any third party.

Anything you listen to and any preferences you set stay on your device. The App does not send that information anywhere.

How the App uses your information

Because the App does not collect personal information, there is nothing for me to use, analyze, profile, or share.

Third parties

The App does not share data with third parties, because it does not collect any. It does not integrate analytics providers, advertising networks, or other third-party SDKs that would receive your information. There are therefore no third parties to hold to an equal standard of protection — none receive your data in the first place.

If you download the App or make a purchase through the App Store, that transaction is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. I do not receive your name, payment details, or other personal information from those transactions. CarPlay is provided by Apple and your vehicle’s system; the App does not collect information through CarPlay.

Data retention and deletion

The App does not collect or store your personal information on any server, so there is nothing for me to retain or delete. Any settings the App saves live only on your device and are removed when you delete the App.

Your choices and consent

Because the App collects no personal information, there is no consent to manage or revoke, and no data for you to access, correct, or delete on my end. This holds regardless of where you live — privacy rights under laws such as the EU and UK GDPR and California’s CCPA/CPRA have no personal data to act on here. You remain in full control: removing the App from your device removes any settings it stored locally. The App does not sell or share personal information, because it collects none.

Children’s privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

I may update this Privacy Policy if the App changes in a way that affects how it handles data. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date. If the App ever begins collecting personal information, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected, how it is used, and your choices — before any such collection begins.
