Frequently asked questions
How do I use Paradise Music Car Companion in my car?
iPhone (CarPlay): Connect your iPhone to your vehicle: plug in with a USB cable, or use wireless CarPlay if your car supports it. When the CarPlay dashboard appears, tap the Paradise Music Car Companion icon to start listening.
Android (Android Auto): Connect your phone to your vehicle with a USB cable, or wirelessly if your car supports it. For a wireless connection, keep Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Location Services on while you set it up. When the Android Auto screen appears, tap the Paradise Music Car Companion icon to start listening.
Paradise Music Car Companion isn't showing up on my car's screen. What should I check?
iPhone (CarPlay): First, make sure both iOS and the app are up to date. Then, on your iPhone, open Settings → General → CarPlay, choose your vehicle, and confirm the app is added to your CarPlay layout. If it's still missing, check Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Allowed Apps to be sure it isn't hidden, then reconnect your phone.
Android (Android Auto): First, make sure both Android Auto and the app are up to date, then open the app once on your phone. Android puts apps you haven't used in a while to sleep, which drops them from the Android Auto launcher. In your phone's battery settings, turn off "Auto disable unused apps" or "Put unused apps to sleep" (the wording varies by manufacturer), then reconnect.
The audio won't play or keeps pausing. How do I fix it?
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
How is my data handled?
How do I request a refund?
iPhone (CarPlay): Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple, so refunds go through them rather than me. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, find the purchase, and choose "Report a Problem."
Android (Android Auto): Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Google, so refunds go through them rather than me. Go to play.google.com, click your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Budget & order history. Find the order, click "Report a problem," and complete the form.
